Liane is 19 years old and dreams of becoming famous through reality TV and social media. Episodic casting situations, everyday moments and performative self-presentations are shown. Riedinger's feature film debut portrays a young woman whose body is simultaneously capital, a projection surface and a venue for social expectations.

The film follows Liane without judging her; there is no moral superiority. The camera is close and moving, but at the same time it does not objectify. Instead, the film manages to develop a visual sensibility between glamor and rawness. Riedinger's female perspective is expressed here as a right to ambivalence: Liane is vulnerable and calculating, tender and aggressive, naive and strategic. In its aesthetic consistency and empathic gaze, the film is a contemporary coming-of-age drama that poses questions about female agency in the age of visual overproduction.
