Die Hektischen Flecken come from Düsseldorf and play indie rock with a 90s influence (Bullet Lavolta, Moving Targets, Lemonheads, Quicksand). The lyrics are about the cross-headed screws of life: love, money, hangovers, death, and everything that can't be found on a packet of cornflakes.
The band's biggest hit so far is "Mikroaggression", a nod to therapeutic fenceposts.
Started in 2015 as a solo project by artist Cornelius Quabeck, it then became a cross-generational genuine rock band.
The Hektische Flecken are: Jan Schönewolf (bass), Louis Maikowski (drums), Karsten Wegner (guitar, vocals, production) and Cornelius Quabeck (vocals, guitar, lyrics).
