Forstamt Alpha? Are they any good? There are two more of them than Elvis, but three fewer than the Flippers—so you can figure it out for yourself! I’d say: healthy megalomania packaged in a clunky way. Kind of like Siegfried & Roy, only without the tiger. Instead, a pinch of magic, quirky indie sounds, and abstruse stories that could almost have really happened. Just as catchy as they are eccentric! The guitars clang, the drums rumble, and the bass booms! It’s what it sounds like when you install the songwriting AI on a C64 and the damn Datasette keeps jamming.

“I, Dieter S., got my coffee maker back from the repair shop yesterday. While unpacking the package, I took out the coffee pot. As I did so, the filter holder fell out. How is that possible, since the machine was with you for repairs because of the poor water flow during coffee brewing? Please let me know—I’d like to make coffee again.”
