In the organizer's words:
Japanese DJ and producer Hideaki Ishii, aka DJ Krush, began his solo career in the early 1990s and is still one of Japan's most internationally respected artists today. With unconventional beat structures and abstract samples from jazz and soul records, he became a pioneer of trip-hop and abstract hip-hop. His current album "Saisei" is a mixture of cinematic breakbeats and abstract rap cuts as well as a drill instrumental.
