In 2015, Octopoulpe emerged from the depths of an aquarium in Seoul and brought to life a unique blend of math rock and hardcore punk. With its numerous tentacles, this half-naked creature controls additional instruments, lighting effects, and video projections all around itself from behind its drum kit. Together with its digital alter egos and rotating special guests, Octopoulpe creates an unparalleled live performance that blends music, technology, and boundless creativity.

Far from a traditional concert, every show is an interactive experience. Every sound, every video, and every light is triggered directly from the drum set, which is connected to his laptop and transforms the performance into an audiovisual playground. The audience is invited to join in and become part of the show—just like in a video game or when performing a “Fatality” in Mortal Kombat.
