Don Glori

Unraveling the thread that binds Don Glori’s music together would be an impossible task. His records blend elements of jazz, funk, soul, R&B, and samba, yet he doesn’t fit neatly into any of those genres. His live show is more jazz-punk-funk than anything else. One thing is certain: there is an undeniable, joyful spirit that permeates his music.

Following the success of his 2024 album *Don’t Forget to Have Fun*, Don Glori is back with his third release, this time on Mr. Bongo—*Paper Can’t Wrap Fire*.

Since moving to London from Naarm (Melbourne, Australia) in 2023, Don has gone from strength to strength, selling out shows at the London Jazz Festival, Jasmine, and Ronnie Scott’s.

He has garnered support from the BBC, NTS, Worldwide FM, Rinse FM, KEXP, Tokyo FM, PBS, and RRR. His second album, *Don’t Forget to Have Fun*, was released on Deep Matter in 2024 to widespread acclaim and led to subsequent tours across Australia, the EU, and the UK. Recent performances include the Meredith Music Festival, Jassmine, the London Jazz Festival, the Brick Lane Jazz Festival, Badehaus Berlin, The Jazz Cafe, Dragefjellet, Strawberry Fields, the Panama Festival, and Dark MOFO. He has opened for Azymuth, Marcos Valle, Emma-Jean Thackray, and Turnover, to name a few, and continues to add to his growing list of bucket-list venues and festivals.
