Hilda is really good at flying. But unfortunately, she only has a toy witch's broom, and on top of that, it's way too small for her.
She’s been wishing for a real one for so long—for Christmas, for her birthday… but nothing. So she’ll just have to get one herself!

With her toy broom, she flies off, zigzagging through the trees, up the hill, and hurtling down the slope at full speed—and… crashes into a big rock. Broom broken! And what about her? Stranded, somewhere in the forest, without a broom,
all alone.

Hilda sets off on foot to find a real, big witch’s broom. Along the way, she meets some strange creatures: funny ones, friendly ones, crazy ones, and even a huge one that everyone is afraid of—except for little witch Hilda! Bravely, she stands up to it and defends her new friends. And in the end, she even ends up with a magnificent, big, pink-and-glittery witch’s broom.
