The Norwegian band Parallax works with a wide variety of concepts within the world of electroacoustic music, where it has developed a synthesis of improvisation, Northern European minimalism, folklore, and electroacoustic music. Their new program, *Biomimesis*, moves between organic and electronic sounds, placing the focus on sound textures as instruments transform resonances and structures back into sonic phenomena. The music feels tactile and spontaneous, coming to life in the most delicate details to approach an improvised sound ecology.
The “Parallax” concert is part of the program celebrating zeitraumexit’s 25th anniversary.
