Holger Klein speaks with Dietrich Borchardt, a water expert at the Helmholtz Center for Environmental Research (UFZ) and spokesperson for the Helmholtz Initiative “Water Security for People and the Environment in the 21st Century,” about scarcity, quality, and the management of our most important resource.

Seven Helmholtz Centers, over 4,000 researchers searching for answers to some of our biggest—and mostly self-inflicted—problems. Some of these answers can be found in this podcast.
