A humane artificial intelligence - is that a contradiction? For philosopher Markus Gabriel, it is rather a necessity. He sees an opportunity in the rapidly accelerating digital revolution - there is no turning back anyway, artificial intelligence has long since permeated all areas of our lives. According to Gabriel, it is all the more urgent that we shape AI sustainably in order to assert ourselves against American and Chinese corporations. We need to use our data to make social values tangible and communicate them with the help of AI agents that understand our values and support us not only technically, but also morally.
