In the new season, cultural studies scholar and author Mithu Sanyal and author and Orientalist Navid Kermani will launch their Literary Salon at the Kleines Haus, where they will periodically invite colleagues whom they both hold in high regard. The first guest is the Austrian author and outspoken intellectual Eva Menasse, who has repeatedly spoken out on the conflict in the Middle East and, most recently, at length on the state of public discourse in this country.
