Faire Gehälter: Pflicht oder Chance?
In the organizer's words:
Starting in 2026, the EU Pay Transparency Directive will take effect—and it poses an uncomfortable question for companies: Can we explain our salaries? For many scaleups and medium-sized companies, salary structures have evolved over time—often lacking transparency and a clear system.
With the new directive, this becomes a problem: Job applicants have a right to salary information during the application process, employees can request information—and companies without a structured system will quickly realize this.
gradar knows what it’s talking about: The Düsseldorf-based HR tech company has itself made the transition from a small startup to an international platform with over 500 corporate clients—and has consistently refined its own compensation structure along the way.
As a specialist in analytical job evaluation and compensation architecture, gradar now supports corporations, mid-sized companies, and scaleups on precisely this journey. In this hands-on workshop, we’ll work together to develop fair and legally compliant salary bands. This isn’t just about dry compliance—it’s about real added value: Companies that proactively foster transparency build trust, strengthen their employer brand, and attract top talent.
Workshop Content:
– What the EU Pay Transparency Directive really means (and what it doesn’t)
– Basic principles of fair compensation structures: job evaluation, bands, midpoints
– Dealing with “legacy cases”: What to do when existing salaries don’t fit into the system?
– Q&A and peer discussion
The workshop is aimed at founders, HR managers, and executives from scaleups, corporations, and small and medium-sized businesses who want to set up future-proof compensation structures—without spending a fortune.
Speaker: Philipp Schuch, founder and CEO of gradar—a Düsseldorf-based HR tech scaleup and one of Europe’s leading platforms for job evaluation, salary comparisons, and pay transparency.
