Successful innovation—from idea to success—requires a lot of resources. Licensing is a proven way to free up funding. It also helps you carry out a project with less risk, build customer loyalty, or further refine your idea! No wonder licensing has played an essential role in the growth of many companies, both small and large. In this 90-minute workshop, you’ll learn everything you need to know to get started, what mistakes to avoid, and what elements every licensing agreement must cover. For example:

-What can I charge for my idea?

-If I license out my idea, can I still use it?

- How do I find the right licensee?

-What is a licensing package?

The workshop will be very practical—I’ve negotiated numerous such agreements for large corporations over the past three decades, worth many millions of euros. You can benefit from this experience here.

The workshop will be conducted in English, with key terms also explained in German. You’ll receive the presentation slides in advance, which include working links to a number of useful databases that will help you make informed decisions.

Important: This workshop is most useful if you manufacture a product or offer a service. We will not be discussing software licenses or SaaS.
