Every single woman in this world has a right to her pleasure, her physical self-determination, her sexual desire. What to do when patriarchy prevents this right? "Female Pleasure" brings together five international personalities who have freed themselves from extremely closed societies and now want to use their courage and creativity to create an awareness of free female sexuality. Despite all the different stories, the film succeeds in highlighting the universal similarities. This is mainly thanks to the clever editing. The editor Isabel Meier knows how to bundle the voices of individuals into a common message through her unifying editing: The tabooing of female sexuality is a global problem, the struggle of individuals is all of ours.
