HIGH FIVE – VELONIA TURNS 5 🎉

On July 4, 2026, we’ll be celebrating our fifth annual FEST im Sattel—and we’d love to invite you to our new Velonia location in Cologne-Braunsfeld. From 1 p.m. to 7 p.m., there’ll be bike culture, socializing, music, focaccia, and plenty of opportunities to get involved. Admission? Free!

Here’s what you can expect:

🔧 DIY Bike Workshop

Bring your bike! All day long, you can tinker, repair, and get your bike in shape with expert guidance.

🏁 Bike Games

Who can hold a track stand the longest? Who can ride to the finish line the slowest? In our mini-world championship, young and old compete against each other.

🎤 Panel Discussion

How can we navigate traffic respectfully together? Everyday cyclists discuss their experiences, conflicts, and solutions.

🎶 Music & Choir

Live music and a choir create a festival atmosphere amid bike stands and air pumps.

🥖 Focaccia Bar by Mampferia

Enjoy fresh focaccia, cold drinks, and good conversation.

🎨 For Kids

In the craft corner, the little stars can get creative while the grown-ups tinker, play, or chat.

FEST IM SATTEL isn’t your typical street festival. It’s a gathering place for people who love bikes, want to make Cologne a better place to live, or just want to enjoy a relaxed afternoon with nice people.
