In the organizer's words:
transmediale 2024 you're doing amazing sweetie explores the challenges of the fascinating but often useless politics and modes of action that arise from the endless cycles of consumption and distraction. Inspired by reality TV formats, the three-day festival with artists, researchers and activists explores how language, relationships and political possibilities are degenerating into artifice through 24/7 access to content. The festival will take place at two venues in Berlin: Season 1 and 2, the first and second festival days, at silent green Kulturquartier and Reunion, the third festival day, at Haus der Kulturen der Welt (HKW). The three-day program includes performances, talks, screenings and exhibitions.
