Filmlab Colloquium 1

The Filmlab Colloquium presents the films, some of which are still in progress, that were made in 2023/24 in the Filmlab, the Filmwerkstatt's working scholarship. All films will be discussed with the filmmakers and Tasja Langenbach (Videonale Bonn) after the screening.

Every decade has its leading disease. In 2033, people are afflicted by a mysterious fatigue. The symptoms point to a comeback of burnout. But there is no therapeutic success. Something is wrong. Dylan, the self-appointed health detective, investigates the matter.

Unleash The Beast # 3: El Axolotl De Xochimilco

A new main character is introduced, the axolotl. Described in pre-Hispanic myths as the goddess of eternity, it constantly changes its form. It becomes a cornfield, a two-limbed plant and a teenager, roaming the increasingly dark and polluted waters of its native Xochimilco.
