Florence Adooni

Florence Adooni is part of the extremely lively frafra gospel scene in Ghana. But her voice is a big exception: born and raised in the Ashanti capital Kumasi, the epicenter of high-life music, her style is different from the original frafra gospel as it is played in northern Ghana. Surrounded by the best young high-life musicians in the city, she now uniquely combines the soul of the northern savannah with the sound of the rainforest region, fusing the best of both cultures into a unique event. Her debut single "Mam Pe'ela Su'ure" on Philophon Records has been well received both in Ghana and around the world. Their music has soul, charm and is bursting with talent from all involved.
