With *Frankenstein*, Mary Shelley created not only a classic of horror literature but also a story of surprising relevance today. At its heart is the young scientist Victor Frankenstein, who pursues the dream of transcending the limits of human knowledge—and in doing so creates a creature whose existence changes his life forever.

Our production combines the novel’s somber atmosphere with a modern visual language and focuses on the story’s timeless questions: How far should scientific progress be allowed to go? What responsibility do we bear for what we create? And what happens when a being seeking closeness and recognition encounters rejection and exclusion?

Between fascination and horror, creation and destruction, a moving drama unfolds about humanity, loneliness, and the consequences of our actions. An atmospheric evening of theater that sheds new light on the famous story and is far more than just the tale of a “monster”—namely, the story of responsibility, compassion, and the desire to find one’s place in the world.
