Be free. Be friendly - that's the philosophy of the Austrian duo freekind, consisting of Croatian pianist and singer Sara Ester Gredelj and Slovenian drummer Nina Korošak-Serčič. They began their collaboration in 2019 with the release of their first single "I'm gonna live". Their shared love of R'n'B, hip-hop and soul music and its ability to uplift people and give them hope brought them together. The two have performed at several festivals in the Balkans.

LOVEBIRD FESTIVAL
Lovebird has fledged, the chick has become a magnificent bird and the initial reactions in the media have been consistently positive. Petra Schlieter-Gropp and Nils Gropp's plan to present Düsseldorf with a new music festival is now a reality: the bird will take off for the first time on June 7 and 8. It's all about music, but there are other things on offer too. In keeping with its dazzling plumage, Lovebird is a total work of art, made up of creativity from different directions, united or complementing each other. Jazz, electro, indie and soul for the ears, art for the eyes, pleasure for all the senses - the program is diverse and creative. In addition to the music, there are several specials, such as the art exhibition "Painted Jazz", the musical poetry album, a panel on the origins of jazz, the reading "Good Night Harry - Jazz meets Heine Texts", a music tour through the city and "The Story of German Jazz" at the Cinema.
