Fruchtiger Beigeschmack

Der Fruchtiger Beigeschmack is a German-language indie-jazz band from Munich. Their music combines indie songwriting with jazz influences and places a special focus on German-language lyrics that blend personal experiences with social and political themes.

Live, the trio regularly expands; in addition to the core lineup, piano, bass, trumpet, and saxophone are often featured on stage. Over the past year, the band has played numerous concerts and discovered the stage as the central venue for their musical expression.

With their upcoming single “ich hör’ mich nicht,” set for release on March 13, 2026, Fruchtiger Beigeschmack showcases their sound with a newfound clarity. The song explores life in the city. Noise, chaos, and anonymity drown out the protagonist’s dark thoughts. As a result, the protagonist cannot “hear” herself and falls into a state of apathy.
