BEA

BEA, whose real name is Beate Reiermann,
navigates with ease as a solo artist on the
acoustic guitar, moving with ease between jazz,
flamenco, and contemporary
instrumental music. Her playing is characterized
by rhythmic subtlety, technical
clarity, and an emotional depth that
does not impose itself but rather comes across quietly.
The pieces open up spaces in which
images can unfold: vast, open,
sometimes melancholic, often imbued with quiet
intensity.
