GSGEDM is the story behind one of Detroit's greatest contributions to world culture: techno, the electronic music phenomenon created by Black artists in the 1980s that changed dance music internationally and evolved into the multi-billion dollar EDM industry. We experience the still active pioneers of the first hour such as Blake Baxter, Jeff Mills and Juan Atkins, their shared history and their formative influence on one of the most important youth cultures of the last 30 years.

Followed by a panel talk with TIBA Movement e.V., which is committed to the representation and promotion of Black and Brown
artists in the electric music industry.
