In the organizer's words:
HOODFIELD is a local dance battle where dancers have the opportunity to gain more experience in battle and hip-hop freestyle. The dancers compete against each other in a knockout system until there is a winner. There will be the categories "Rookies", "Test your Skillz" and "Open". "Rookies" are dancers who have less than three years of hip-hop freestyle experience or have participated in a maximum of twelve battles. More experienced dancers belong to the "Open" category. "Test your Skillz" is open to all levels.
