Gründungskonzert des Klaviertrios Heike-Angela Moser (Klavier), Birgit Seibt (Violine) und Istvan-Alexander Gaal (Violoncello)

The artists Heike-Angela Moser, Birgit Seibt and István-Alexander Gaal have set themselves the goal of discovering and developing women composers around the artistic figurehead Clara Schumann and giving them a voice on stage. With this in mind, they have founded a trio whose inaugural concert will take place in the chamber music hall of Palais Wittgenstein - in the immediate vicinity of Clara Schumann's former home!

The centerpiece of this concert is Clara Schumann's Piano Trio in G minor op. 17. The program also includes her Three Romances for violin and piano, which underline the emotional depth of her music. In relation to her artistic connection to Robert Schumann, you will also hear his Adagio and Allegro for violoncello and piano.
