Guerilla Kino Open Air: Code der Angst
In the organizer's words:
For us, cinema belongs right in the heart of life—in the backyard, in the neighborhood, right on the spot. On August 27 and 28, 2026, we’ll once again take over the courtyard of the Allerweltshaus in Cologne-Ehrenfeld. Together with the Allerweltshaus and film expert Achim Dunker, we’ll present two evenings of films that move, challenge, and linger in the mind.
August 27: Code of Fear A documentary that takes an unflinching look at the lives and existential threats faced by queer people in Cameroon. Amid state persecution, societal hatred, and an unyielding will to live, the film shows what resistance truly means. The movements and dance of the protagonists on screen are not entertainment—they are an act of defiance against a system of oppression. This is not feel-good cinema designed to tug at your heartstrings, but raw reality.
