"Tirily! Tirily! I am alive."
Heine's journey from Munich to Genoa
The lust for life and the pain of existence, the joys and torments of the world, irony and serious feelings: Heinrich Heine set off for Italy in a stagecoach for two weeks in August 1828 and wrote down his impressions during his journey.
Victor Maria Diderich and Paula Götz from the drama school "Der Keller" read from the "Journey from Munich to Genoa". The six-piece jazz ensemble of the Robert Schumann Hochschule Düsseldorf under the direction of Paul von Chamier interweaves and comments on the recitation with a lot of feeling and rhythm, sometimes with melancholy, sometimes with moving music.
In cooperation with the Heinrich Heine Institute and the Heinrich Heine Society.
