Q&A WITH ACTORS AND SERIES MAKERS ON SITE!

In 2021, when the world was in lockdown, the Iranian web series "Happiness" presented itself in the digital watchroom of the SERIENCAMP FESTIVAL as a kind of showcase into a world that is often hidden from us and partially sealed off from the West. Before leaving Iran with her mother, young Shadi traveled through a country she had long since left behind in search of her father. Six months have passed since her arrival in France - and of course the young woman is still struggling to find her way between adaptation and loneliness. It is only when she meets Arezou, a Franco-Iranian, that Shadi begins to thaw. Instead of looking for her father, she now searches for stability and freedom in a still foreign world - and slowly transforms into a politically active person through her experience of exile, her new friendship and also love.
