1960'lı yıllarda Almanya'ya işçi olarak giden Türklerin hikayesi tam da burada başladı. Sirkeci Tren Garı'nda.

'HEİM - Bir Göç Hikayesi' bu yolculuğu, trene binen insanlardan biri olan Kemal'in hikayesi ile anlatıyor. Aslında hiç aklında yokken bir anda kendini Almanya yolunda bulan Kemal'in kâh hüzünlendiren, kâh gülümseten anılarını dinlerken bir yandan da bir döneme şahit olacaksınız.

Hikayemizin içinde acı var, hüzün var, hasret var. Ama en önemlisi de vatan sevgisi var.

The shrill whistles of the trains about to depart...

Tearful farewells, silent looks turned to the ground...

The merciless sound of the train heading into the unknown...

Screams, shouts, lamentations...

People waving from the windows as they ride into the unknown...

In the 1960s, the story of the Turks who went to Germany as workers began right here. At Sirkeci station.

"HEIM - Eine Migrationsgeschichte" tells this journey through the story of Kemal, one of the people boarding the train. As you listen to Kemal's sometimes sad, sometimes smiling memories, you become a witness to an entire era.

There is pain, sadness and longing in our story. But the most important thing is the love and longing for our homeland.
