Heshmat is an exemplary husband and father; every morning he leaves for work very early. Where is he going? Pouya can’t imagine killing another person, yet he receives the order to do so. Could there be a way out for him? Javad visits his girlfriend Nana to propose to her. But this day has another surprise in store for both of them. Bahram is a doctor, but he’s not allowed to practice. When his niece Darya visits him from Germany, he decides to reveal to her the reason for his life on the margins of society.

"heimkino." is a project in collaboration with Flugmodus GmbH, creating a home for the community of film and cinema lovers in the trendy Ehrenfeld neighborhood. As part of this new series, we bring classic films and lesser-known masterpieces back to the big screen every Wednesday. Each month is dedicated to a common overarching theme.
