The artists ELA and Brenda Blitz are the focus of the first edition of
"hochverlegt presents".

Anna and Chiara, a music journalist and photographer from Cologne, launched the podcast "hochverlegt" a little over a year ago. It covers topics such as concerts, pop culture, festival experiences, wild stories and music tips, and they often have artists from the industry as guests.

This heartfelt project has now given rise to "hochverlegt präsentiert": An initiative that aims to make young artists and newcomers better known in the music scene and to further shape Cologne as a musical cultural location. In this first edition, the audience can look forward to performances by ELA and Brenda Blitz, both of whom have already been guests on the podcast.

BrendaBlitz, inspired by greats such as Joy Division and Talking Heads, developed her first songs in this direction. Currently, she can be found in the genre of wave pop with electronic influences. Brenda Blitz shows are an invitation to experience, a happening - an attempt to blur the boundaries between stage and audience.

Newcomer ELA herself has lived in Cologne for a while, where she began her musical journey with clear hip-hop influences. Today she lives in Berlin and her sound is an exciting journey through different genres: from synth-pop to Neue Neue Deutsche Welle (NNDW). It's the perfect soundtrack for heartbreak, nostalgia and wanderlust.
