Holzwerken: FLINTA* Rahmenbau-Workshop
In the organizer's words:
This four-part introductory course teaches the basics of woodworking step by step. Together with master carpenter and restorer Jana Broxtermann, participants will work with classic hand tools, learn traditional wood joinery techniques, and receive an introduction to the safe use of selected electric hand tools.
Over the course of the workshop, participants will create their own wooden frame, which they can then take home. No prior experience is required. The workshop is ideal for beginners and takes place in a small group, ensuring plenty of time for individual questions and support.
The course is aimed at FLINTA* individuals aged 16 and older and provides a safe space to explore craft skills, gain confidence in using tools, and bring their own projects to life. No prior experience is required.
Jana Broxtermann is a trained interior decorator, master carpenter, and restorer. Through her program “Von Frauenhand,” she offers craft courses specifically for women as well as for mixed-gender groups. Her goal is to inspire people to take an interest in the craft and to give them the confidence to carry out their own projects safely and independently.
