HOSPITALITY BETWEEN FOLDS. Reihe für Gastliche Literatur. Zweite Falte

The program is in dialogue with the exhibition Embracing the Fold by Kinke Kooi and Roland Schimmel.

Under the title Hospitality between Folds , a three-part series for guest literature will take place in the Temporary Gallery. This is not only based on the name of the current exhibition Embracing the Fold. The content of the program is also based on the works of artists Kinke Kooi and Roland Schimmel. Readings and talks, with performance and sound, will deal with the theme of hospitality and bring it together with the idea of the fold, the folded and the folding. The series will be curated and moderated by the author Maria Babusch, invited by the curator of the exhibition, Lisa Klosterkötter.

The second event in the Guest Literature series will unfold on July 7. Then the author Amuna Wagner will be a guest and read from her novel "Elzain's Eulogy". This novel develops its spirit-inclusive hospitality from a sensual opulence of language. In addition, the Persian bookshop and publishing house Forough Books, which is based in the Mauritius quarter, will be our guest in the neighborhood. Anahita Redisiu and Nahid A. Musawi will give us an insight into the work of the poet Forugh Farrochzād in a bilingual reading.
