Literatur an der Moorkate

Melange e.V. is a literary society, but authors rarely get a chance to speak in person here. This summer, we’re making an exception: For the second time, on August 16, we’ll be presenting a full day of readings at the amphitheater on Moorkate in the Rombergpark Botanical Garden, accompanied by music and theatrical walks—with free admission. A varied, lively program with many local references and nationally renowned guests will ensure top-notch entertainment. On stage: Lioba Albus, Christiane Antons, Frank Brandstätter, Thomas Eicher, Caroline Keufen, Günter Rückert, Oliver Uschmann, and the Martin Brödemann Trio. In addition to the Botanical Garden’s impressive plant life, visitors will have the opportunity to browse through books and chat with the performers and other attendees in the wonderful setting nestled between the dunes, heathland, and the Hortus medicus. A variety of dining options are available in the immediate vicinity.
