HUNGRY EYES ON TOUR

The Hungry Eyes Festival is a festival at the intersection of film, performance, and visual arts, and takes place every year and a half in Giessen. At the most recent edition in November 2025, two collectively curated short film programs were shown, among other things, and we are now taking one of them on tour. First stop: Luru Kino, Leipzig.

PROGRAM (66 min total)
The seven short films open our eyes to spaces: built and digital, political and social. They focus on what usually remains in the background and ask how spaces shape our bodies, how we inhabit, share, and design them. Using a variety of cinematic techniques, the films open up new perspectives on the familiar and make the inconspicuous visible.
