In the Brain – Hofesh Shechter / Shechter II

We’ll also be reunited with the spectacular up-and-coming ensemble Shechter II, co-produced by the festival, which has been generating euphoric excitement every two years since 2018. Shechter’s choreographies captivate audiences with their elemental physicality and high musicality. The former dancer with the famous Batsheva Dance Company, who moved to London in 2004 and quickly rose to become a world-class choreographer, is now presenting his brand-new, show “In The Brain,” which premiered in March, in which he explores the parallels between club culture and contemporary dance, oscillating between rave and ritual. The Swiss press described it as “a roller coaster of emotions” and said they were “swept off their feet.”
