Indientag 2026 - Eine Reise durch Wirtschaft, Kultur, Musik und Tanz

Noch niemand hat sich das Event gemerkt.

In the organizer's words:

Immerse Yourself in Indian Culture: In cooperation with the German-Indian Society ,an evening of music, dance, and presentations will take place on Saturday, December 5,from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the VHS Essen.

India Day at the VHS Essen, organized by the German-Indian Society e.V. in cooperation with the VHS, is a feast for the senses that blends tradition and modernity. The event features a diverse program that blends classical Indian dance with Bollywood rhythms. Dr. Pandit Ranjit Sengupta (sarod), André Krengel (guitar), and Sudeep Chakravarti (tabla) will create a musical dialogue between tradition and modernity. A keynote address by Suvish Viswanathan, Regional Director for Germany, Austria, and Switzerland (DACH) at Zoho, bridges two business cultures that may seem foreign at first glance but, upon closer inspection, are surprisingly similar: the German SME sector and the entrepreneurial spirit of a small town in southern India.

Free admission to the event. Please registerhereanyway.

The buffet featuring traditional Indian cuisine costs €15 per person. If you’d like to join, please send an email to info@essen.dig-ev.de. Payment is due on-site.

This is a rescheduled version of the event that was originally supposed to take place on June 27.
