The Irish Pogo Party presents a punk potpourri of good humor at the end of the year with concerts by Cologne bands Halvlang and Plasma Peppone plus the usual wild demolition with DJ goblins Fakkomoto & Chanto.

The evening opens at 20:00 with the Cologne combo Plasma Peppone, who will be back on the Blue Shell stage after 15 years. Plasma Peppone were formed from a carelessly discarded bottle of Kölsch and play a German-language blend of punk, ska, indie and rock from the future.

At 21:30, Halvlang take to the stage and present a Cologne Rhenish folk-punk mix in the style of the Pogues or Flogging Molly with Punch & Prost. Here, driving guitars and virtuoso mandolin meet crisp beats and an unleashing accordion.

From 22:30, the Irish Pogo Party rings the bells. Then it's time for a Christmas escalation with a frivolous mix of folk punk, ska punk, German punk and rock classics.
