JACQUELINE BOULANGER & BAND
NEW ALBUM RELEASE "REACH OUT
Passion and a spirited nature are trademarks of the Berlin-born Afro-German. Jacqueline Boulanger lives in Rostock and likes to be called "The Jazz Voice of the North". She celebrates modern, groovy mainstream jazz presented with sophisticated arrangements by her pianist Tino Derado. The new CD/LP "Reach Out" is the result of a maturing process of the gifted singer with a brilliant band. Her selected songs from Cole Porter to Michel Legrand sound convincing, different and simply fun. Monk's "Well you needn't with German lyrics or a musical marriage proposal of Gregory Porter, interpreted by Boulanger, promise a varied, exciting concert!
