The band from San Antonio / Texas garnishes their vintage rock sound with a fresh mix of fiery funk, crisp blues & grooving soul. Their energetic catchy tunes unfold their full power especially LIVE, when the trio transfers their hellish energy directly to the audience. Fans of Ace Frehley, Dokken, Moxy, the L.A.Guns, Dirty Honey, Jackyl, Uli Jon Roth, the Killer Dwarfs, Axe or Uriah Heep, among others, have already experienced this when JJATJ shared the stage with them.

With their fourth highly acclaimed studio album and a live album also released in 2025 in their luggage, JASON KANE & THE JIVE are currently on tour in Europe for the third time after two trips to Spain; this time they want to shake up as many German stages as possible.

Founded in 2018 as a pure jam project and strongly influenced by acts such as KYUSS, FU MANCHU, MONSTER MAGNET and desert rock veterans BRANT BJORK, BLACK CHARGER stand for uncompromising stoner rock with clear roots in the 1990s. The trio from Osnabrück combines powerful guitar riffs with distinctive grooves and high dynamics. Their sound is immediate, earthy and full of energy, driven by a deep understanding of the genre and a clear focus on authenticity. The band also occasionally ventures into the funk of the 1970s.

BLACK CHARGER received a lot of attention for their four singles, which were initially released digitally, leading to a collaboration with the Bochum-based vinyl label < CLOSTRIDIUM RECORDS > where the debut album was released in 2025: "Small Town" brings together ten songs that reflect the band's range both musically and thematically - from personal memories of growing up in the small town of Bramsche to reflections on power structures, existential pressure and the myth of stoner rock's origins in the Californian desert.

Their intense live presence has already impressed with international acts such as 1000MODS, WUCAN and MOTOROWL - now BLACK CHARGER are sharing the stage at #DingsDoubleFeature, here & now at FridayNightMusicClub with JASON KANE & THE JIVE (USA)
