From the heart of the Ruhr region, STARGO are here to drag everyone from rock-savvy hippies to stoner freaks and hard-core metalheads to the lava lamp to bang their heads together. The Dortmund trio at the interface of stoner rock and metal impresses with its variety and joy of playing. The STARGO sound oscillates from brutally driving to psychedelically dreamy, from straightforward to cosmically spun, while the sometimes reservedly gentle, sometimes aggressively raw vocals do not shy away from great emotions.

Similarly, sprawling instrumental passages have always been part of the band's musical DNA. Time and again, STARGO surprise with unexpected twists and turns and allow the most diverse musical elements to merge as a matter of course without losing their irresistible flow. In huge arcs of tension, relaxed desert rock meets heavy grooving stoner riffs, reverberated post-rock meets blast-beat outbursts and doom borrowings. Psychedelic synth sounds repeatedly underline the dense atmosphere of the songs...

True to the motto "heavy and apocalyptic riffs tell a story, that doesn't need words", WASTELAND HAZE have been mixing stoner rock, doom & post rock since 2022 to create their own raw, unfiltered and instrumental style: from deep, crushing doomy riffs to atmospheric, sometimes playful melodic interludes to groovy, driving stoner parts, the power trio from Düsseldorf offers a broad spectrum of musical finesse.

The band deliberately dispenses with vocals and only uses samples and soundscapes to tell a story from man-made destruction to the reconstruction of civilization on the ruins of our time. Sophisticated songwriting is one of the band's high standards.

Their debut album was met with much praise; in the live scene, WASTELAND HAZE were able to establish a good reputation and, in addition to many smaller shows, had the opportunity to prove themselves with flying colors as a warm-up act for the likes of High on Fire, Dopelord, Exxasens and Leech.
