JAZZ: POLISH TUNES – Margaux & BANDiten

The Cologne-based band Margaux & die BANDiten will perform a concert featuring standards,
songs by Polish jazz musicians, and their own compositions—Heiner Wiberny
. For decades, the saxophonist shaped the sound of the WDR Big
Band. His unmistakable, expressive tone is his
trademark; his richly nuanced playing, rooted in jazz, also
also reveals influences from world music and contemporary music
