In 1994, Finnish jazz musician Jimi Tenor accidentally provided the soundtrack for the Love Parade: "Take Me Baby" was the name of the kick drum hit from Tenor's solo debut, which, with its main instruments flute and tenor saxophone, was rather unsuspiciously techno. With his musical curiosity open to all sides, he has since created a broad oeuvre ranging from theater productions at Kampnagel to works with the UMO Jazz Orchestra and Afrobeat albums with Tony Allen. Last year, Tenor recorded a new album with Hamburg producer Tobias Levin - with a Finnish-Ghanaian band, who will now also be accompanying him to the summer festival. The album was released on the Hamburg avant-garde label bureau b, which, in addition to releasing classics such as FAUST, is dedicated to young experimental musicians and will be presenting another artist on this evening, Saeko Killy: With influences from J-pop, NDW and industrial music, the Japanese musician and producer from Berlin creates a psychedelic musical dream world that "is a bridge between eras and countries" (HHV Mag). A label evening with two acts famous for their energetic live performances - and DJ sets by Isa Schwarzenberg and Daniel Jahn (NTS Radio, Kiosk Radio).
