Bachelor Recitals: Terēze Anna Pogiņa | Vocal Ensemble | Jiuning Liu Quintet | Vocal Ensemble

Jiuning Liu, singer and composer, grew up in China and studied classical singing in Shanghai. A strong passion for jazz led her to Hamburg in 2022, where she met numerous outstanding musicians at the HfMT Hamburg in addition to an excellent education. Her music combines personal stories with impressive improvisations and a unique voice. The focus is on contemporary jazz, whose sound aesthetics are inspired by free improvisation as well as traditional Chinese music, thus developing an independent signature.
