Current & new trends and ideas meet the classics from 30 years of the black scene (e.g. Esterhofen, Pulverturm, ...) and other current & past cult locations with changing DJs, special guests, visual art installations & live acts. We see ourselves as an open, interactive concept - by and for scene people - in which creative forces work together and new ideas & visions are realized!

The acts:

Luxembourg-born singer/songwriter Jerome Reuter founded his multilingual project ROME (the name is short for his first name) in 2005 and has since created a remarkable body of work that includes at least 17 studio albums and numerous other official releases.

Reuter's captivating dark folk fuses various musical influences from post-punk to chanson, from industrial to synth wave. Lyrically inspired by world literature from Burroughs to Brecht, from Celine to Cioran, from Hesse to Jünger; Reuter's detailed, well-researched yet highly accessible concept albums uniquely combine his interest in history, philosophy and art. LOVATARAXX was formed out of the blue in 2013 while crossing the Williamsburg Bridge during a spring break. Upon seeing the gray and pink stripes of the bridge's structure, the aspiring duo decided to explore a roller coaster of emotions in their music and lyrics.

LOVATARAXX explores the depths of minimal wave, dark electronics and post-punk. On stage, the two musicians are surrounded by caustic synthesizers, sharp drum machines and a bass drowned in chorus effects. The aesthetic of LOVATARAXX, which contains influences from both the eighties and the nineties, is nourished by Greek mythology, sci-fi K.Dick-like novels and romantic poetry. Enchanting voices, Carpenter-like synthesizer melodies: everything sounds strange and familiar at the same time, everything oscillates between the deceptive feelings of the blind, cheerful days and the long despair of a lost generation.

The audience dances, spurred on by the stage presence of the front woman with her boxer braids, who switches from English to German to fast beats. The duo often play live with a vjay who sends looping figures onto his old TV screens.
