In this creative workshop at Kunstort in Cologne, you’ll learn how to use ceramic casting clay to design your own decorative objects—from candle holders to decorative bowls and trays.

Ceramic casting is one of the most popular DIY workshops and allows you to create your own stylish, modern home accessories.

You’ll work with an eco-friendly, plaster-based casting compound that’s mixed with water and hardens quickly. This means you can take your finished pieces home right away.

In the workshop, you’ll cast one larger object and one or two smaller ones. Whether marbled, solid-colored, or terrazzo-style—you decide how your pieces will look.

We’ll show you the technique step by step and guide you through the entire creative process.

The workshop is suitable for both beginners and those with some experience—no prior knowledge is required.
