Stick-Workshop I Stich für Stich zu deinem Design

In this creative workshop at Kunstort, you’ll learn the basics of embroidery and put them into practice right away: You’ll embroider a pair of white socks with designs of your choice.

Embroidery is currently experiencing a real renaissance, serving as a counterbalance to screen time and as one of the most relaxing ways to create something with your hands.

You’ll work with an embroidery needle, an embroidery hoop, and colorful thread. We’ll show you which stitches work best for which motifs and how to transfer your design directly onto the fabric. If you’d like, you can also bring your own T-shirt, bag, or other piece of fabric to embroider.

Step by step, we’ll guide you through the technique and support you throughout the entire creative process.

The workshop is also suitable for beginners; no prior experience is required.

Here’s what to expect:

• An introduction to the basic techniques of embroidery

• You’ll embroider a pair of white socks with an embroidery design

• If you’d like, you can also bring your own piece of fabric to embroider

• A selection of threads and many different designs

• Creative work in a relaxed studio atmosphere at Kunstort Köln
