A great summer vacation workshop for kids 

Together, we’ll dive into the fascinating world of the ocean. Young author Lotti Strohbach will present her children’s book *Die Umweltfreunde: Plastikalarm* and take you on an exciting journey exploring the ocean, the environment, and friendship.

Afterward, you’ll get creative and design your own ocean-themed glass. You’ll take this home with you, along with a signed copy of the book. We’ll provide everything you need to participate. 

What to expect:

• An author reading from “Die Umweltfreunde: Plastikalarm” by Lotti Strohbach
• Take your own copy of the book home with you
• Creative workshop: Design your own ocean glass
• Optional: Group lunch with pizza and drinks (additional fee of 10 euros per child, to be paid in cash on the day of the event). The event ends at 2:00 p.m.

Who is this workshop for?

For children ages 6 and up who are looking forward to a creative morning of crafts. No prior experience is necessary.

Please note that we’ll be painting with acrylic paints, so we recommend wearing clothes that can get a little paint on them.

Date and Time: Wednesday, August 5, 11:00 a.m.–1:30 p.m. (until 2:00 p.m. if you stay for lunch)

Our workshops will take place with a minimum of 4 participants. If this number is not reached, we ask for your understanding that we will refund your payment. In this case, we will of course notify you in a timely manner.

Terms of Participation:

When dropping off their child, parents must confirm in writing that they are placing their child in our care and provide a current phone number on site. During the workshop, we assume responsibility for supervision to the usual and reasonable extent. At the start of the workshop, children will be instructed not to leave the event room on their own. Parents are asked to inform their children of this rule in advance. If a child leaves the event room on their own despite explicit instructions, the legal guardians will be notified immediately and asked to pick up their child.
