AUGUST SANDER – Marking the 150th Anniversary of His Birth 

Our photo sleuths have picked up a new lead: It leads straight into the fascinating visual world of August Sander! He is famous for his portraits of a wide variety of people, including farming families in the countryside,female artisans, female students, and artists. 

He also photographed the city of Cologne as it used to look. 🏙️
And his portraits taken at artists’ festivals show the carnival costumes worn in the 1920s. 

So let’s embark together on an exciting journey through time, discover people, places, and stories from times long past, and solve tricky search challenges.
