Movie fans, take note!If you’ve always wanted to know what goes on behind the scenes at a movie theater, you’ve come to the right place. On this exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of Cineplex Leipzig, you’ll get a peek behind the scenes and learn how a modern movie theater operates. Included in the ticket: the tour, a movie of your choice on the day of the event (excluding 3D movies), and a light meal with popcorn and a soft drink.

The tour starts in the lobby at the information desk. There, you’ll get fascinating insights into the history of the theater and plenty of interesting facts about the movie industry. Afterward, theater manager Heiko Fischer will take you to areas that visitors normally never get to see: the projection room, the post-mix room, and the technical rooms. Along the way, you’ll learn, among other things, how movies make it to theaters today, what projectionists used to do, how pirated copies are handled, and what goes on behind the scenes of a movie theater.

After the tour, simply choose a movie of your choice for that day’s screening (excluding 3D movies). You’ll also get popcorn and a soft drink—for the perfect movie night.
